3 Day Basic Pistol Course

This course is designed for students who are complete beginners, or new to pistol shooting, and looking to improve their pistol shooting  capabilities and general shooting knowledge.  The lessons are carried out in a Safe and generally relaxed manner, by capable instructors who have experience of teaching a wide range of students.  The course is predominantly a “hands on” experience where 80% of the learning is practical.  Students will fire approximately 100 rounds every day, with a minimum of 300 rounds fired throughout the course. The training is provided using a progressive methodology to ensure that every student understands every lesson completely before they continue  on to further lessons.

This course has been designed as “a whole package”.  Everything is already organised before you arrive.  All accommodation and food is arranged and all necessary travel around  the area is included, so you are completely catered for.  This makes it significantly more convenient for our students,  and minimises disruptions to the course, which leads to an overall better experience.

Prerequisites

As this is a basic course, there is no requirement for a great deal of  previous shooting experience or qualifications.  The only prerequisite is that every participant must be over 18 years old and every student must provide:

  • Proof of the student’s full name, age (all Participants must be over 18 years of age) and address
  • Current contact details
  • A completed Next of Kin form during the proposed course date
  • A completed Waiver Release of Liability and Indemnity Agreement

Class size

The Introduction to Shooting package can vary from 1­9 students. In order to maintain our high standards of Instruction, we keep the class sizes small. The instructor to student ratio is kept between 1:1 ­ 1:3

Topics covered:

  • Firearm Safety (At home and on the Range)
  • The Mechanics of a pistol
  • Pistol Stripping, Assembly and Maintenance
  • Equipment selection and preparation (Holster(s), Belt, Magazine Pouches etc.)
  • Information on Firearms Storage and Transport
  • Correct Loading and Unloading procedures
  • The Fundamental Principles of Pistol Shooting
  • Basic Shooting positions
  • Stoppage/Malfunction drills

What is included:

  • 300 Rounds of 9mm ammunition to use during the course  (with the option to purchase additional ammo at a discounted rate*)
  • The use of Sig Sauer P250 Compact (9mm)**
  • Full Instruction during the 3 days (Mon, Tue, Wed)
  • Comfortable Accommodation in a partnering Hotel (4 nights***)
  • All meals throughout the duration of the course
  • Return Transfer(s) at the beginning and end of each day between the Hotel and the Range
  • Use of all gear and equipment throughout the duration of the course  (Holster, Safety Goggles, Ear Defenders etc.)
  • Return Transfer(s) from Kraków Airport to your Hotel

What isn’t included:

  • Flights. You need to get yourself here! We will pick you up from  either the Airport or the Main Railway Station or any location in the Kraków area****

Course Booking Procedure:

The total cost for the 3 Day Basic Pistol Course is 600.00 (GBP)

Payment options:

A) Pay 100% of the course fee up front.  Secure your place on the course dates of your choice.  Further course arrival instructions will be sent to you via email once payment has been confirmed.  Courses must be booked at least 3 weeks in advance.

B) Pay 50% of the course fee.  Secure your place on the course dates of your choice.  Pay the remaining 50% a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the course start date.  Further course arrival instructions will be sent to you via email once complete payment has been confirmed.

Payment Details:

Payment can be made in the form of an International Bank Transfer.  Please note that this is a GBP(L) account,  so please ensure that you pay in GBP currency (NOT in the PLN equivalent).

When making any payment, please ensure that you include in the title  or notes of the transfer, your full name, selected course and course start date to enable us to identify you as having paid.

Cancellation Policy

If you cannot attend a previously booked course, then you must  inform us in writing as soon as possible. The notice period we have  of any cancellation, directly effects the amount refundable. We deal  with every cancellation on a case by case basis, where we try our best  to facilitate a workable solution for our students.  When ever it is possible, we will offer you alternative course dates,  and if that is not possible, we will do our best to return as much of the course fee as possible.

If a student simply does not arrive and has previously not given us any notice,  then the complete course fee is non­refundable.

If a course is cancelled by us, then we shall offer you a full refund,  or alternative course dates. In this case, the choice will be at the student’s discretion.
